Fundraiser’s went for a spin as they helped buy lifesaving equipment

Brightona and their followers handed a cheque for £45,000 to The Sussex Heart Charity on Brighton seafront. It will be used to buy an echo cardiogram simulator, which will allow people to practice lifesaving techniques. Brightona trustees – Aby Goldin, Rudolph Egeler, Jan Young, Rachael Coles & Bob Brake – were joined by Hove MP Mike Weatherley in presenting the cheque to Rachael James, Andrew Forsyth and Terry Ayres from the charity. It is the second of the machines bought by Brightona. Former EastEnders actress Carol Harrison was also on hand to draw the raffle. The presentation was followed by a fish & chip supper.
